Will CBD hemp products containing 0.3% THC or less make me fail a drug test?

Thats a great question!

To cut to the point, NO, consuming our hemp products at any reasonable rate will NOT have you fail a urinalysis for THC. It is not likely to get a THC positive urinalysis by consuming hemp products containing under 0.3% THC at any casual rate.

We have a customer who consumes four cartridges per week and passes urinalysis screening!

To even trigger what would be referred to as a false positive, you would have to consume 1000mg - 2000mg of CBD per day for some sustained time (weeks). This is the equivalent of 2-4 of our cartridges per day or an entire gram of our dab wax per day for some sustained period. This is a lot of consumption! Any average user would be consuming approximately 166mg per day if one cartridge last you three days, which seems to be an average for .5ml vapor cartridges at daily use. If you consume edibles then consuming no more than approximately 10 edibles per day will keep you from triggering a false positive.

It is referred to as a false positive because you never consumed enough THC to get high, but due to high exposure to the THC it was absorbed into the blood. It is not referred to as a false positive because you didn't consume THC. Let me be very clear; ALL OF OUR PRODUCTS DO CONTAIN THC. The technicality to be classified as a hemp product is anything containing 0.3% delta-9 THC or less, and this is irrelevant to any other compound within Cannabis/Hemp strains. This is not relative to THC-A which is a non-psychoactive form of THC, and this is not relevant to any other cannabinoid found within cannabis including but not limited to CBD or canabidiol.

In other words, cannabis basically is hemp, or very similar. The classification is defined only by the chemical composition and is irrelevant to any growth characteristics or appearance. In general, a hemp plant tends to be taller with more leaves at the top. Hemp is a family of the cannabis sativa and thus normally has long skinny leaves. Hemp does create flowers or what are commonly referred to as buds. To the untrained eye and without consuming the product or testing it with expensive lab equipment you would never recognize the difference between THC prevalent cannabis marijuana and CBD prevalent cannabis hemp. When you smoke hemp you ARE smoking a cannabis product and consuming THC, just not enough to get you stoned or be euphoric/psychoactive. There is no wording the facts around what they are. The fact is that THC is even in granola!

Rest assured though that if you follow our recommendations you WILL NOT be failing a urinalysis for THC.

Consumption of THC in such small doses is safe and is even beneficial to complement the CBD which helps to create the entourage effect and subdue the drowsiness that is accompanied with CBD consumption.

Please enjoy responsibly!

-WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I FAILED A URINALYSIS!?

You best bet is honesty. Tell your employer/boss/probation officer, the truth! Tell them how much hemp helps you, and that you do it for benefits and not altering your state of mind. Tell them it is a false positive and ask to repeat the test the next day. Drink lots of water between and you will be fine! Any understanding employer or P.O is likely to understand and not even have you repeat the procedure. If you are consuming THC prevalent cannabis with our hemp then this will not work! THC absorption into the blood is dependant on, but not limited to, a persons size, diet, fat content, and daily activity, and why these are general guidelines and not guarantees!
